BC Espoir Fukash open Group campaign with the win over SLAC at the 2022 BAL Qualifiers. DR Congo's team posted a 104-89 win in Group G2.
Espoir Fukash grabbed a 26-14 lead at the start and nailed the same number of points in the second frame. SLAC managed to win the third quarter 30-23, while BC Espoir Fukash closed the game with a 29-24 run.
Rolly Fula (198-F-93) top-scored for the winners with 27 points and Ben Ilunga (01) netted 26. Arsene Mwana (180-PG-01) produced 16 whilst Bobo Kasongo (189-G/F-90) had 12. Dane Miller (201-G-90, college: Rutgers) replied with 27 points in a loss, whilst Dioumba Mara (197-SF-93) and Mamadou Keita (192-G-93) poured in 14 each.
